Dr Duncan Brumby
My work is concerned with understanding how people interact with computing devices. I received my doctorate in Psychology from Cardiff University in 2005, after which I was a post-doc in Computer Science at Drexel University, before joining UCL in 2007. I direct the MSc programme in Human-Computer Interaction at UCL.
I work within interdisciplinary teams, using methods and approaches from psychology, computer science, and design. I have published 60+ papers on how people interact with computers (see UCL Publications or Google Scholar). Support has come from grants provided by the EPSRC and EIT Digital.
